B.J. has been a sculptor and scenic artist in the television and film
industry for the past 11 years. Over the years, he has worked for various
and sundry clients, including The Venetian Hotel, CBS, FOX, Disney's
California Adventure and many others.
He first fell in love with the Classics when he was 12, and ran across a
comic book of Hamlet. It was the perfect match of art and literature. When
he was in the third grade, he did impressions of the Muppets at a Church
function. In High School, he was president of the Drama and Art Clubs, and
attended University with a Scholarship in the Performing Arts.
As his art career advanced, he realized the wonder of audiobooks. As he
sculpted or painted for hours on end, he became acquainted with David
Copperfield, Jane Eyre, Ivanhoe, and many other colorful characters. Over
time he
began to realize that part of the allure of these tales was in the
presentation, in the reading performance itself. He has listened to audiobooks faithfully for 11 years now, and cuts a unique painterly figure
as he frequents the public library. He knows exactly what it takes to make a
great book, a great audiobook.
B.J. has been happily married to Cilla for 11 years. They have three
incredible children: Basil, Seven, and India.
